Grant Options for Every Buyer

We’re committed to helping first-time homebuyers, community partners and military members achieve their homeownership goals. Through our partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB), we have several grant programs available to qualified buyers who need assistance with a downpayment or closing costs.

Grant options include:


Up to $5,000 assistance for closing cost or down payment with a minimum contribution of $1,000 from the borrower. Must be a first-time homebuyer.


Up to $7,500 for homebuyers currently serving or retired law enforcement officers, educators, firefighters, first responders or healthcare workers with a minimum contribution of 1,000. No first-time homebuyer requirement.


Up to $7,500 to those who are currently active duty, veterans, reservists or surviving spouses. Based on Military Entitlement. No Minimum Investment. No first-time homebuyer requirement.


Up to $10,000 to homebuyers who are currently active duty, veterans, reservists or surviving spouses. The money can be used to provide down-payment, closing-cost, and principal reduction assistance for the purchase of a home to be occupied as a primary residence. Must have served in an overseas intervention and based on military entitlement.

All programs require household income at or below 80% HUD Median Income and approved homebuyer education. Actual loan qualification is subject to verification and approval of income, credit, property, appraisal and other factors. Up to $10,000 available for overseas service. Owner-occupied purchases.
